Del Taco Restaurants Inc. is an American fast food restaurant chain which specializes in American-style Mexican cuisine as well as American foods such as burgers, fries, and shakes. Del Taco is led by CEO John D. Cappasola, Jr., and is headquartered in Lake Forest, California.

A reviewer in Orlando said "I have stopped there a couple of times to eat. They send me tons of coupons in the mail as I live nearby. The place is always empty. The cashiers there varies but they all lack customer service skills. One day I walked in at 10:45am to order a breakfast taco and they told me that breakfast ends at 11:00 am. I said it wasn't 11 yet and the cashier didn't care so I left. Another time I went in there and wanted the cashier to explain the menu and the different things on it and they wouldn't. I drive by there all the time and never see more than 1 or 2 cars there. I don't know how they stay open. For a fast food place in a college area they should be very busy but they are always empty."

"very poor communication from management to employees. i heard that i was fired after calling in sick the first and only time (when genuinely sick) and i heard about it through the grapevine. the manager couldn’t be bothered to inform me? or tell me why? apparently he figured i would assume i didn’t work there anymore when he stopped sending me the schedule? i have no idea. also, i worked there about 4 months and there were 6 managers in my time there."

Always short staffed - crew consisted of 16-17 year olds with low work motivation and schedules were inconsistent. Overtime was not paid at times and we sometimes didn't even get breaks. But if you get pregnant with his illegitimate child he will allow you to alter your hours and steal from the company. Don't work fr this toxic "company""

"The manager would look pass us any pretty girl would walk in There, she can get promoted faster than anybody that was working their butt off, like I Would come in on my days off I would come in when all the high school students didn't want to come in and cover their Shifts but I never got promoted now we've got told I was going to get promoted gonna get promoted but soon as the skirt walked in and door he jump over me to get to that skirt and help me train at skirt to be mod manager I wouldn't recommend anyone to work here"

"Work was great until the MANAGER called me chinese and chino after i stated im not chinese. The managers according to my other colleagues formed somewhat of a pact against people they did not like, understaffing cashiers so that person would work both front and drivethru. Swapping money from the workers assigned register and moving it to their own so they can report the worker for stealing. And after reporting it to HR it was never handled. The day i put my two werk notice in, my colleagues also told me the GENERAL MANAGER started speaking negatively about me."

"Takes about an hour to receive food. Over numerous occasions it is always a slog to get through this establishment. I went through a complete podcast while waiting in line for food. The food also comes out messy, with pieces of other items that were not supposed to appear in the particular food items. At least this is how it is at the Tehachapi California location."

"Even though I enjoy and like their food, I dread going there for my father for taco Tuesday at the Roseville location. The reason is because they take FOREVER to get your order out. A 20-25 minute wait is average here. They really need to teach their employees how to stuff a taco faster.
I can go to any other fast food place and be in and out in a short period of time so I don't know what goes on at this location.I have even let my son stay in the drive through while I shop at a nearby store and finished shopping before him"
